International Quality Support Associates

As an International Quality Support Associate you will be helping to support and resource the delivery of our overseas qualifications activity and called upon on a case by case basis; as we are now looking to develop a network of International Quality Support Associates to contribute to the quality standards and assuring of our overseas EAL centres and associated programmes. International Quality Support Associates will be allocated a suite of overseas centres to help support the development of robust approaches to quality standards and assurance in regards to their delivery of EAL products and services. This will help to ensure they are being delivered in line with the required quality standards and regulatory requirements as per EAL Centre recognition requirements and policies.


What Experience & Skills will you need?




Relevant qualifications such as AVA and IQA, previously A1, V1 or D Unit equivalent with current CPD evidence in relation to nationally recognised standards as previously set by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) now LSIS. Such as LLUK units 001-005

Relevant EQA qualifications, previously V2 or D Unit equivalent, with current CPD evidence or previous LLUK units 006 /007/008

Good IT Skills including use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook

Ability to effectively use a range of electronic media to accurately record and report activities in relation to business.

Working overseas in a related field




Previous experience and sound knowledge of S/NVQs and VRQs assessment and IQA processes.

Working overseas in the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering sector

Successful track record of delivering at least one of; Assessor, IQA and Train the Trainer programmes

Successful track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and of growing business including in an internationally related context.


Essential Capabilities


Engineering qualifications at least a Level 3 occupation

Experience of working within Industry in at least a Level 3 occupation

Ability to travel to EAL’s key international markets
